Emerald Earrings

Emerald earrings are known for their beautiful green color. They are coveted for this simple fact, as many people enjoy the color green, and it goes with many styles and fashions. It carries a mode subdued look than something like a Ruby, and are on par with the cool and calm look of a sapphire. As with any fine gemstone, you’ll find emeralds in all styles of earrings, and they are frequently paired with diamonds.  Emeralds are actually more rare than diamonds, and can be more expensive than generically produced diamond jewelry.  As such, much of the emerald jewelry you’ll find is going to use a man-made, or “created” emerald.  The cost of this type of jewelry is considerably less, but they are obviously less valuable than natural emeralds.

Emerald Stud Earrings

An emerald stud earring is the perfect way to showcase your diamond without additional distractions, whether it is natural or lab-created. On the other hand, emerald drop earrings are also quite elegant.

Emerald Gold Earrings

Both yellow and white gold emerald earrings look great. Whether the emeralds are real of synthetic, your earrings will always hold a certain value if real gold is used in the mounting. Of course, if you can’t afford gold, silver emerald earrings are also quite lovely.

Angelina Jolie Emerald Earrings

One of the most famous and fabulous pairs of emerald earrings are those worn by Angelina Jolie at the 2009 Oscars. They were large and gorgeous, of course. They were also real emeralds, and at that size, they were quite expensive. Since most people don’t have Brangelina money, if you want to copy her style, you’ll probably have to go with knock-off Angelina emerald earrings. Be sure to read the reviews of the earrings you’re looking to purchase, as some fakes are better than others.
